Mick Talbot, formerly of The Jam, The Style Council and The Paul Weller Movement. Talbot has also played keyboards with Dexy’s Midnight Runners and The Merton Parkas and has produced records for Carleen Anderson, Galliano, Talbot-White, and Workshy. His songwriting credits include songs for The Young Disciples, Carleen Anderson, and Paul Weller. As a studio musician, Talbot’s credits include: Luther Vandross, Desree, Omar, Urban Species, Airto, Dina Caroll, and many others.

Chris Bangs, recorded and wrote 6 of the first 11 releases on the Acid Jazz Label in the U.K., he is one of the seminal jazz/soul dj’s and is often credited with the birth of acid jazz. Bangs was one of the Special Branch DJs which included: Gilles Peterson, Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold, and Dr. Bob Jones. Bangs produced Galliano’s first record, along with albums for Paul Weller, Barrie K. Sharpe and Diana Brown, Workshy, and Kiss Of Life. Bangs has recorded with Mr. Electric Triangle, and The 13th Sign, for whom he did all the writing and production.

Soundscape met while working on Galliano’s first record, and is a meeting between the fusion of the 1960’s and ’70 and more contemporary influences. It mixes the studio mastery of Bangs and the keyboard wizardry of Talbot with fine live playing by Gary Spacey-Foote (Night Trains), Nigel Wallace-Price, and Paul Gunter.
